What are Polarized lenses?  

When sunlight strikes certain surfaces (i.e. water, snow or ice), the bending of light that is reflected off “glare”.  Our lenses contain a special filter that blocks this intense reflection of light, allowing you to reduce eye strain and improve the clarity of your vision.

Do all your lenses provide 100% UV protection? 

Yes. Our lenses provide 100% UV 400 protection. That means that our sunglasses protect your eyes from both UVA and UVB radiation.

Why is the Black lens so dark? I can hardly see through them. 

Our black lens are considered category 4 tint, making them extremely dark to see out of if you are not facing direct sunlight. They block 3-8% transmitted sunlight.

I have sensitive eyes, and I drive a lot. I need the black lens but they’re not recommended for driving.

Our category 4 black lens are ideal for sensitive eyes. However, we do not recommend them for driving, because of how dark they are. It can become difficult to see the dashboard when you are not facing direct sunlight. However, we they’re past customers, who find no issue driving with our black lenses and there are others who do. 

Which Lens tint provides the most UV protection?

Are the lenses scratch proof?

No, our lenses are not scratch proof. However they are protected with a scratch resistance coating. Over time they will scratch depending on how they are being used. 

How do you submit a claim?

Go to https://www.toroeeyewear.com/pages/policies/#warrantySection and submit a request for your replacement. Make sure to include your Name, Order # and Batch. 

What does warranty cover?

Your warranty covers: lost, stolen, scratch lenses, frame damages, broken frames, and manufactured defects.

Are there any other costs when i make a Warranty Claim? What does the Warranty cover?

 shipping replacement fee applies to Warranty Claim orders- For Domestic- $12.95; For International shipments $19.95

Can i get a New color through my Warranty Claim? 

No, Replacements must be the same color as the original purchase order

Do i need to send back my current sunglasses when i make a claim? 

No, we do not ask for your current sunglasses back; we simply ship you a New replacement.

Can i ship my Claim to a friend? 

No, Warranty replacements must get shipped to the same shipping address as the original purchase order.

How long does it take to receive my replacement?  

All warranty claims are processed between 3 to 10 business days and shipped by USPS standard mail.

Domestic shipping: 3-7 business days

International shipping: 15-45 Business days

Is there a limited amount of claims i can submit? 

Every verified purchase comes with Lifetime Replacement Warranty. Our warranty covers Manufacture defects, General damages and Lost, Broken or Stolen occurrences. Lost, Broken or Stolen occurrences are limited to 1 replacement. After use of Replacement, the Lifetime Warranty continues for the lifetime of the sunglasses but only towards Craftsmanship defects.

Are the lenses ANSI Rated? Yes! All our lenses pass ANSI- Z80.3 standards.

Do you offer ANSI Z87 Rated Sunglasses?Yes! For Safety rated sunglasses select "VALLEY ANSI Z87+ SAFETY RATED POLARIZED SUNGLASSES"

Are they safety glasses?Only our Z87+ options are Safety rated, all other Sunglass models meets Z80.3 standards only.

If a package is on hold at customs we must wait until it is released, International shipments typically do not exceed 30 days.

The width of our Sunglasses are 133mm from the inside of the frame

Are Toroe Sunglasses RX-able? 

Yes, our lens can be forcefully popped out and replaced 

Which color lens is most suitable for driving?

 We suggest our Silver lens, since these are the lightest in tint 

 Are Toroe sunglass ballistic?

No, we do not have official testing to announce them as being Ballistic

Are Toroe Sunglasses Rated ANSI Z87? 

We have not done official testing fpr ANSI Z87 certifications. They are currently rated as ANSI Z80.3
